● Consent Agenda: The Board reviewed and approved items included in the consent agenda. This included the tax collection report, police and animal control reports, and minutes of the May 2026 Board meeting.
● Bookkeepers Report: The Bookkeeper’s Report was reviewed and approved by the Board.
● Developers Report: Jesse Carrasco, a representative from Hillwood, updated the Board on the commercial development in the district, including the existing and upcoming businesses in the commercial portion of the district. He also informed the Board that Atmos Energy is no longer planning to open cut Harvest Way to install gas utility pipes.
● Tax Matters: The Board authorized the District’s delinquent tax attorney to proceed with the collection of delinquent taxes.
● Police Services Contract Discussion: The Board discussed the ongoing police service in Harvest. Denton County now responds to calls for police services within the District.
● Engineers Report: The Board reviewed and addressed several invoices for completed maintenance work, including channel repairs in phase 15, regular detention and retention pond maintenance, and the removal of erosion control debris in phase 14. Additionally, the Board discussed a proposal to transition from a recurring monthly inspection contract to an as-needed service model for street lights to reduce costs.
