Key Topics Discussed:

  • Consent Agenda: The Board reviewed and approved items included in the consent agenda. This included the tax collection report, police and animal control reports, and minutes of the January 2026 & March 2026 Board meeting.

  • Bookkeepers Report: The Bookkeeper’s Report was reviewed and approved by the Board.

  • Police Services Contract Discussion: The Board discussed the ongoing police service in Harvest. Argyle PD will continue to provide services to the district until May 31, 2026. After the contract expires, Denton County will respond to calls for police services within the District.

  • Engineers Report: The Board reviewed updates provided by the District Engineer on various district construction and maintenance projects, including the completion of streetlight installations on 4th Street. The Board was also updated on “No Truck” signage to be placed on Center Street, the Notice of Upcoming Tree Trimmingannual tree trimming project, and irrigation inspections and repairs.  

The next meeting of Belmont FWSD No. 2 will be on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
